2 Wonderous Tigers DVD

Price: $5.99

Directed by Cheung Sum with fight choreography by acclaimed martial artist Wilson Tong and a stirring soundtrack by composer Frankie Chan, TWO WONDROUS TIGERS is one of the forgotten classics of old-school Hong Kong action cinema. Pan Pan Yueng stars as a skilled female martial artist facing an unwanted marriage proposal from the son of a local gangster (Tiger Young). Knowing that her suitor is inept at martial arts, Yueng declares a kung fu contest in which the winner must defeat both herself and her brother and sister for her hand in marriage--prompting an action-packed series of battles, kidnappings, and rescue missions. Genre stalwarts Philip Ko and John Cheung co-star as contest fighters hired by Yeung's suitor to better his odds.
