Hibari Masori, the most popular female singer in Japan, plays a young male kabuki actor in this classic tale. When Kiku is blamed for a murder and shunned by his mother, he dons the personality of Benten Kozo. Joining a band of Robin Hood type bandits, he fights off a gang of criminals terrorizing his home town. Co-starring screen-legends Tomisaburo Wakayama and Kotaro Satomi, showing of some of their unique style of swordsmanship.
